    • Profile photo of Ipswi Cornhill Redevelopment Planning Application Comments by Ipswi. 1 2

Various comments are now appearing since it was changed to FPI3. … I have been invited to comment on the above location by the Ipswich Society. My objection is very straightforward. Can IBC show who owns the actual Cornhill routes and places? As they know who block paved the area (IBC or SCC) with public funds it is obviously a public right of way. It has probably been a right of way for hundreds of years as it has been used by the public…

Ipswich Cornhill should get final go-ahead for redevelopment to start Proposals to redevelop Ipswich Cornhill and turn it into a showpiece for the town centre look set to be approved by planners this week. That should allow work to start on the project in January next year – and the new-look Cornhill should be ready in time for the Christmas lights switch-on in 2018. The proposal is set to be discussed by the borough’s planning and developme…

Monday 24th April 2017 will be the last day for representations on the Cornhill Redevelopment project (IP/17/00235/FPI3). Unfortunately very few representations have been made through the normal planning application process even with Ipswich Society alerting its members. This goes for both positive representations and objections. This should have been another public consultation.

Penn Commercial has a brochure (property particulars) for the former pub in Lloyds Avenue with an artist impression of “A view of street montage that has been proposed for Lloyds Avenue” – is this actually a proposed design by the council or some nonsense the commercial estate agent has put together to get a client?I was only ever aware of the roof version of Lloyds Avenue being proposed (without substance – merely an i…

Ipswich Borough Council has submitted its planning application (17/00235/FUL) for the awful Cornhill Redevelopment. Shortly after the announcement people got angry at the cost of destroying the town. The smug undeserved sense of accomplishment by the parts of Ipswich Vision resulted in us writing to the leader of the council. If YOU do NOT want it, speak up! Send in a representation against the development proposal… They have denied you a…

What are your thoughts on the Ipswich Cornhill Redevelopment Project plans? Does the Cornhill need a major project like this? Are the steps a problem? Value for money? News of Ipswich Vision approval for Cornhill Redevelopment has prompted me to write to project lead member – Ipswich Borough Council. As Council Leader, I wrote to David Ellesmere. I assume he is too busy with the election upcoming and am not expecting a reply. The public has seen a completely new Cornhill design which they cannot reject.
