Since writing in to Ipswich Borough Council with our Cornhill Redevelopment objection and pointing out that it should be FPI3 and not FUL – this has now been changed.

    From IP/17/00235/FUL to IP/17/00235/FPI3

I give in, what’s the difference? Google hasn’t helped me either…

I'm really quite cross now, so watch out!

    FUL means full planning application.

FPI3 means full planning application by IBC.

Not sure if they can reclassify it – I noticed they have changed the notice at the Cornhill to reflect this.

It appears to just be an internal code where councillors are more likely to accept wacky proposals based upon the council submitting the applications.
