I have just been wondering why am I having these leaflets that are delivered by hand shuffed through my door– when many others dont seem to get any– or at least they have not mentioned it on here– first of all Henley Gate– now about the proposed building of a Distribution Centre– do you think that some one is trying to tell me some thing? or trying to make me have a stir up– just to make me feel like Bojo–

For those who have not got the leaflet about the Distribution centre there is more information here. http://goo.gl/XYxmnxI

I think it is a sad day for society when people think that constant expansion and building on green spaces is a good idea.  It is clear to me that those advocating a northern bypass have no idea where it will go and what benefit it will achieve apart from moving a problem created by Ipswich’s expansion to somewhere else.

John T  I see that you live in Barham and can understand your concerns– but Ipswich needs to expand and will expand– if it do then this must be a benefit to Barham in time to come– the one thing we are in agreement on is– another green space lost– B&Q are going– Comet have already gone therefor for the love of me instead of building another distribution concern– why can they not take over these places when B&Q leaves– the buildings are already there– Barham — Needham and Claydon already have their own problems with all the house building going on– as have Ipswich with the proposed Northern Fringe– whether you and I like it or not its going to happen– lets get it right– and a Northern Bypass is going to be a must, even you must see that–

Unfortunately, I can’t post a link. However, I can say that there are two planning application being considered for that site at the minute. If you go to the Ipswich Borough Council website, click on view applications, say okay to t&cs and put in these application numbers you can view the applications and associated documents. The first one is 16/00367/FUL and the second which I THINK is the B&Q one is 16/00454/FUL. If u put in the application number then when it comes up, click view documents you can view the application and planning statements etc. Hope this helps.

Yes it is. So now is the time to make your views known by officially commenting on the application at the IBC website and not on here. For or against you need to make your voice heard !

Kathy, do you know if there will be a presentation at the July NW Area Committee on this application. The supporting documentation is very difficult for the average person to understand. I’m interested in the air quality zones at Valley rd, Chevalier st, Bramford rd and the impact all this development as well as other sites will have on residents in those areas.

I haven’t gotten the papers yet, so I don’t know. I will try to get the info on when they will be available and let you know. At the very least I can check with the planning policy guys on Monday.

    Watchfull,

The problem was that you did not copy the link fully, easily done, here it is again.

    http://goo.gl/XYxmnxI

Although your Chinese version was more entertaining.

As Mass R has said we all need to get our comments into the formal Crest application to make sure that we get a proper solution to our common concerns on local traffic issues.

Not that one either, John T, plus nowhere near as entertaining as Watchfull’s link!
