Ipswich Star Trinity College Seeks Cut In Affordable Homes To Be Built At Felixstowe Site

    Community leaders are being asked to agree a nine percent reduction in the affordable homes on a development because one of the country’s wealthiest universities says it cannot afford to build them.

    Not only do they own most of the land near Felixstowe for the port expansion in this area they also own the Suffolk Showground. I am not sure why Ipswich Central hasn't facilitated them to buy land at Ipswich Waterfront or perhaps get them to buy the third office block in Princes Street!

    It wouldn't surprise me if they acquire the sugar beet factory site once the council has cleaned it up.
