Records have been broken by the region’s universities in this year’s national league table of universities.

Unsurprisingly, we are last in the region.

However, our national ranking has fallen. This isn't good enough! We have no chance as a new uni to enter the top 100 anytime soon, however, falling down the ranks is deeply concerning.

Furthermore, the completion rate and graduate prospects is awful. No wonder the area is attraction for crime. I would assume a standard of 80% completion rate as acceptable and a 75% graduate prospect level. The bottom 3 universities struggle in these areas.

In Ipswich, we experience a lot of bullshit geared up at the general population, whether this is inflating tourism figures by little known agencies (so much we jump above Edinburgh), saying our university is one of the best for graduate prospects (really? 65.9% that is poor) or anything else to boost confidence with very little evidence to be believed, with information not upheld by anyone outside the town.
