Organisations near to a Suffolk college have been asked to offer students parking after residents complained of an ongoing “nightmare” over blocked roads.

Why don't they re-purpose their site to include parking for students? It was pathetic how they didn't include any parking at a sixth form college!

Aldi should be conscious that it is alienating their customers by these Suffolk One students.

Not a solution... but this is....

Solve the Suffolk One problem in three easy steps...
    1. Convert the bus area (which is mostly wasted space) to extra car parking (for students!)
    2. Utilise the grounds to create a new pavement (with bus shelters)
    3. Use the existing pavement space for a long bus layby for 5 buses or so

Totally arrogant attitude by SCC I guess in the initial design off the site suggesting student would come by other means than cars. It was bullshit then and it turned out to be even worse for the locals and students. Again failure by local authorities, no one's accountable and not prepared to put right their error. Everyone suffers...... Pathetic...

Well it failed - SWISS (Suffolk One) now just "One" was meant to be a college to replace all sixth form centres in the county and there was big emphasis on lots of public transport going there (number of services rather than frequency).

A complete disaster, just like the university...
