    TTL HELL!!!

by martinc in North East IpswichDec 7, 2017 with 4 replies and 66 views.

so my 12 minute, 2.5 mile journey into Ipswich town centre is now affected by three sets of temporary traffic lights. This morning it added about 15 minutes to the journey time. New lights have now appeared on Woodbridge Road at the Argyle St junction, so traffic barely moving at all up Woodbridge Road, that alone added 10 minutes. WTF is going on! Who is allowing contractors to dig holes so indiscriminately across the town now?

Latest reply: Also, heavy traffic A1214 London Road... A14 Orwell Bridge closed East Bound what appears to be from Copdock Interchange all the way to Trimley. Far too long stretch, lorries must be going through villages to get to Felixstowe.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery, which happened on Saturday, October 21, around 8.05pm on Samuel Court. The male victim, in his mid 40s, was walking in the area when a woman asked him for £5.As he pulled out his wallet some other notes came out. The suspect then struck the victim to the right hand side of his forehead causing a small bruise and a graze – and grabbed hold of the loose notes before fleeing the scene....

    Ipswich Country Market

by dan5 in North East IpswichApr 19, 2017 with 0 replies and 41 views.

Ipswich Country Market - it claims to be 30 years old.I have to admit, I have never heard of it and have spoken to many people over the last decade saying "wouldn't it be a good idea?!"The Ipswich Country Market takes place on Thursdays, from 10.15am to 11.15am, at Rushmere Village Hall in Humber Doucy Lane, on the edge of Ipswich. They have enlisted the help of University of Suffolk students to help market the country market.
