Hopefully it doesn’t come up at one of the election hustings….
What have you achieved in the last seven years? I brought trees to Ipswich Station.
Apart from trees, what have you achieved? I got funding for Wet Dock Crossing.
Ben knows there is a lot to do. He knew David Ellesmere was a joke, that an MP typically get a second chance and Labour…[Read more]
some have gone now. I hope theY don’t’ relY too much in the data from the Turret Lane one, as for nearlY the whole time it was there Lower Brook St was shut due to the sink hole (which took two whole weeks to get around to fixing) so traffic flow will have been far from normal….
So here we are, not that long until the election. We’ve had at least 2 Ben’s Bulletins, we’ve had the TorY weak and wobblY leaflets, we have Lib Dem stuff, Ukip stuff but still zip, nadda, zero from Mr Martin. No knock on the door, no leaflet, no letter from CorbYn, not a thing. I need to know what Mr Martin’s plans for Ipswich are, I know what…[Read more]

TheY will be mad if theY approve this in current form, however, Ipswich Star this afternoon;
his page went quiet after the censorship event for a few daYs, but then it was the eve before the bomb, so possibly understandable. Since then Ben has been interacting with the posters a bit more it seems to me. So I wonder if he felt the need to take a more hands on approach rather than leaving it to a trigger happY minion.. Well I’ve onlY seen…[Read more]
Ben Gummer is talking about a “cycle superhighway“.
The BS he is talking about on facebook…

A few things shout out at me…
Avoiding “Northern Bypass” term. Northern Route, Northern Relief Road.
“In just two years”… (i.e. the last general election) actually he launched this in 2011!
“in 2015 they published an outline survey”… he means in 2017 the Phase 1 Northern Route Study was published? They agreed to consider a study in 2…[Read more]
Have received an acknowledgement from No10 — and a short while later received — noreply @ 10.gov .uk — your message has been passed on to the appropriate body for attention — will someone now give Ipswich some consideration and have a look at our quest for a NBP? — will someone be having a word in Mr Gummer’s ear — will someone be having a…[Read more]
Thanks for this Watchfull, it will be very interested in what the response is (if any).
Yesterday, I got caught up in the traffic at Copdock Interchange… the A12 was closed between Copdock Interchange and the Bentley/Capel St Mary junction. It took an age to get from Tesco roundabout onto the A14. When on the A14, there was another incident on…[Read more]

Shelly Darwin published a tweet showing what has been described as a delivery of leaflets to Ben Gummer’s Fore Street office. To the right are queues of vehicles caused by the pallet delivery lorry and to the left are Waspi supporters.

This could be the last throw of the dice for me — so as to speak — I have emailed the top dog — our Prime Minister — explaining to her Ipswich,s struggle to get a NBP — but one has only 1000 chars max — whether it will get passed to her or just her office I do not know — I have asked for permission to post any reply we get, to post it on…[Read more]
